Took Goldenwood Briar Rose to her second ever show and it proved a fruitless one. Weather wasn't kind to us today and proved a bit wet.

Left at crazy o’ Clock to head to Turriff show with Goldenwood Madonna and Goldenwood Royal Saphire to attend their first show of season. Both won their riding pony classes and again their welsh classes and Maddy went overall small breeds champion and to our delight she went Reserve Supreme In Hand of show and won £260 prizemoney between them.

We left Royal Welsh on Thursday evening and headed up the road and did Border Union Bronze Medal show.
Goldenwood Georgie Girl was on winning form again and went Section B champion and Overall Welsh Champion. Now being champion at every bronze medal show in Scotland and getting her silver medal at Royal Highland. Quite an achievement for a yearling filly.
Hanmere Pebble won a good 2/3 yr old class too.
Both ponies are now finished for summer show season
Had a blowout on lorry on way home and eventually got home to thunder/lightening and torrential rain.

We set off at 9pm on Saturday night for our long drive to the Royal Welsh show. We arrived just after 9am on Sunday to a glorious hot day actually way too hot.
We had a fantastic week watching lots of welshies been shown, eating lots of lovely food and spending some money at trade stands. The ponies found the heat quite intense in their temporary stables.
Wednesday morning we were in the ring,Ginny was 4th in a massive class of yearling fillies but did have a few diva moment.
Penny found the heat too much and was very lack lustre in her class but Alison loved her time in main ring again.
We left Thursday night to head back to Scotland to Border Union show on way home.
